CONCORD – Margaret Ann Bernard, 57, of Concord and Center Barnstead, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Margaret was born on August 14, in Melrose MA, daughter of Barbara Roberts, and the late Charles Roberts, of Center Barnstead, NH. She was also predeceased by Dylan's father, Bruce Bernard, and her Uncle Kenny
Maggie's family moved from Melrose to Suncook Lake in Barnstead in 1972. She graduated from Alton High School. Maggie worked for the State of NH for more than 35 years, most recently as an IT Specialist. She enjoyed reading, sitting in the sun at the lake, the occasional glass of wine, gardening, traveling & quilting, she was fantastic with a seam ripper. Maggie was a wish granter with Make A Wish of NH. She was kept very busy every fall with her work for the Deerfield Fair Association. She loved to catch a Bruins game at the Garden. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and unwavering love of family and friends. Memories created with her will remain in our hearts and will last a lifetime.
Maggie is survived by her beloved son, Dylan Bernard and "her" buddy Triton of Concord. Siblings Lauri Rautenberg and her husband Kevin of New Port Richey, FL and Scott Roberts and his wife Cindy of Center Barnstead, NH. Nephews and nieces, Matthew Plaisted, his wife Stephanie and their son Henry; Kelsey Zervas, her husband Steve and their children, Harper and Theodore, Katie Navarro, Adam Navarro and Paul Roberts. Aunt Di & Uncle Danny, Aunt Sharleyn and a handful of cousins completed her family. She also had an extended group of people who were all lucky enough to call her a friend, she was loved and will be missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 29, from 4 to 6 pm at the Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, EPSOM.
