ALLENSTOWN – Malvina Raichle, 87, of Allenstown, passed away July 5, 2024 at Hillsbrook Village with her husband by her side, following a period of declining health.
She was born in Barbertown, NJ February 6, 1937, daughter of the late Benjamin and Sophie (Priliszh) Baltrukovicz.
Following the family's move to Staten Island, NY, she attended Tottenville High School and obtained her teaching degree at Hunter College and NYU. She taught high school mathematics for several years before leaving to start her own family. She was a talented painter, and crocheted many beautiful pieces. As a child she was an accomplished accordionist, and had a lovely singing voice. Malvina enjoyed daily Scrabble games with her husband and won their last game by two points!
She was predeceased by siblings Jennie Papke and Benjamin Baltrukovicz.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Raichle of Allenstown, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, children, Ruth Klipp (Jondavid) of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Paul Raichle (Jeanne) of Bow, NH, sister, Patricia Dugan, two grandsons, Harry and Travis Klipp, and several nieces and nephews.
Malvina's family wishes to thank the exceptional staff of Hillsbrook Village for their dedicated and loving care. She left many wonderful friends at Hillsbrook.
