CHICHESTER - Lucille Eleanor (Marden) Randall, 88, of Chichester, NH passed away on May 30, 2023. Lucille was born on May 26, 1935 to Shirley and Eleanor Marden. She attended Chichester grade schools and graduated from Concord High School in 1953 where she was active in Music and Drama. Lucille attended LaSalle Junior College. Lucille's pastimes included reading, bowling, and stock car racing in Manchester where she met Ernest N. Randall. They were married October 20, 1956. They made their home on the family farm in Chichester where they raised their 4 children and were active in their local community. In 1975, they were instrumental in founding the Chichester Emergency Medical Squad. Lucille's employment included the NH Fire Insurance Company and the Morse-Batchelder Studebaker dealership. In addition, she sold Avon Products door to door. Lucille retired from The New Hampshire Department of Employment Security after 20 years of service in the payroll department. Upon retirement, Ernie and Lucille traveled, visiting family and spending winters in Florida, and returned to New Hampshire in the spring, camping at various campgrounds with the Bug-A-Boo Crew camping group. Lucille enjoyed time spent at her cottage on Northwood Lake. She was active in The Chichester United Methodist Church choir, women's group, and the Red Hat Society. Her greatest involvement was with The NH Order of Eastern Star where she was a member for nearly 50 years, holding several offices including Secretary and Grand Electa 1999-2000. Lucille is survived by her brother, Linwood Marden Sr. of Chichester, NH; daughter, Holly (and Stephen Sr.) MacCleery of Chichester, NH; son, Ronald (and Sandra) Randall of Concord, NC; daughter, Sandra (and Mark) Graves of Barre, VT and son, Daniel (and Joanne) Randall of Epsom, NH and their families, which include 35 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Donna McGowan. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 10AM to 12PM in The Roan Family Funeral Home - Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12PM followed by refreshments. A private burial will be held at Pine Ground Cemetery in Chichester at the convenience of the family.
