Leo G. Girard, 92, of Concord passed away on July 4, 2026, at Harris Hill Nursing Home in Concord.

He was born on February 10, 1934, in Concord, son of the late Henry Girard and Beatrice (LaVallee) Girard Connor. Leo was educated in the local schools, a graduate of Pembroke Academy and in 1951 joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for the next 4 years, serving during the Korean conflict where he earned a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal before his honorable discharge in 1955.

Leo was a businessman in Concord area for many years.

Besides his parents, Leo was predeceased by his stepfather, Bernard Connor, stepson, Kevin Gilman, sisters, Cecil (Charlie) Connor, Jean (Armand) Paquette, brother, Francis (Dot) Girard, niece, Susan Connor and nephew, David Paquette.

Leo is survived by his special friend, Susan Gilman of Blaine, ME; stepdaughter, Kori Thomas of Mantachie, MS; four grandchildren, Lili, Cash, Gage and Alona Skye as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10AM at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St, Pembroke, NH. Interment with military honors will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown. To share a memory or offer condolences please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
