Obituary

CONCORD - Lawrence N. Brown, Jr., better known as Scott or Larry to those who knew him best, of Concord, NH, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Born on May 2, 1972, in Biddeford, ME, the son of Lawrence Brown, Sr. and Emily (Buzzell) Brown. Lawrence lived a life filled with exploration, passion, and joy. Lawrence was a dedicated mechanical engineer who was deeply respected in his field. His work ethic was second to none, often seen taking long walks with his co-workers. Despite his commitment to his job, Lawrence always found time for his hobbies. An avid hiker and snorkeler, he loved the thrill of outdoor adventures. He and Arlene shared a love for travel, frequently embarking on cruises together. Lawrence's pets were a crucial part of his life. He enjoyed long walks with his dogs, Chai, Copper, and Radar, and cherished his cats, Skidz and "Other Cat". He also had a sweet tooth, with dessert and chocolate being his guilty pleasures. He found joy in the simple things in life, like taking trips to visit family. In addition to his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by brothers, Thomas and Scott Thompson. Members of his family include his significant other, Arlene Green of Concord; siblings, Sandra Haviland, Perry Thompson, Pamela Kallas, Cody Thompson, Jeffrey Thompson, Lee Thompson, Tammy D'Amico, Todd Thompson, Gayle Pattiasina, Shelley Richardson (Todd), Karen Herring (Wes), Craig Boutin and Brenda LaBreck (Lin); step-sisters, Kathleen LaPointe and Lisa Ouellette; nephews, Chris Lefebvre, Jeff Boutin, Anthony Boutin, Matt Herring, Joshua Boutin (Michelle), Keith Miller; nieces, Jessica Lefebvre, Jazmine Canterbury, Melody Herring Bane (Ryan), Crystal Harrod and Angela Starr; great-nephew, Alex Lefebrve and many other great-nephews, nieces and cousins.
