PEMBROKE- Kim J. Nadeau, 65, of Pembroke, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Kim was born on March 27, 1958 in Schenectady, NY, daughter of Irene (Laverdiere) Flanigan of NY and late George Sheridan.
Kim last worked at Southern Glacier Wine and Spirits in Concord for 17 years as an accountant until her retirement in 2018. She received her formal education from Mildred Elly Business School. Kim loved the outdoors from gardening, being at the lake, boating, swimming and especially fishing, fresh or salt water. In 1999 she won the Winnipesaukee Fishing Derby alongside her husband. She was a great cook and a master card player of Pitch.
She was also a member of the post 37 Hooksett Legion Auxiliary.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by her son Winston Bishop III in 2016.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Dennis O. Nadeau of Pembroke, siblings, George Sheridan and his spouse Rose of CO, Kirk Sheridan of NY and Denise Sorrentino and her spouse Mark of NY, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 3PM-4:30pm at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main Street Pembroke. A service will be held in the funeral home beginning at 4:30PM. Immediately following the service, a celebration of life will be held at the Hooksett American Legion, 5 Riverside Street, Hooksett.
