Obituary

LOUDON- Kevin Arthur Sears passed away quietly in his home at the age of 71 after a long battle with illness from the effects of exposure to Agent Orange. He was an extremely loyal friend, uncle and brother. He was the type of man who would give all that was in his power to give, regardless of the cost. He was loved by all who truly knew him and his kind, steadfast and loyal heart. He truly embodied the values with which he was raised, and those which were reinforced in his service to the Army: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. Kevin served the people of the United States, enlisting in the Army and serving in the Republic of Korea as an Engineer in the United States Army. He continued that service as an ardent patriot until his passing. After his Army service, he pursued his desire to live a quiet life, retiring to his favorite spot; his cabin in the woods, where he was able to live in harmony with nature, peacefully enjoying its many splendors. Kevin was reunited in death with his father, Arthur Frederick "Buddy" Sears and his mother, Jean Lorraine Arseneault. He is survived by his younger sister Elizabeth, his younger brother Richard, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no formal services at this time.
