PITTSFIELD- Mr. Kevin C. Joy, 66, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2022 after a long illness. Born in Concord, Kevin was the son of the late Calvin and Gladys (Fifield) Joy. He was born and raised in Pittsfield and later resided in Franklin for over 20 years before returning to Pittsfield in 2016. A "Jack of all Trades", Kevin held many jobs throughout the years, most notably at Wyman- Gordon PCC in Franklin. In earlier years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a diehard NASCAR fan and the unofficial #1 fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He enjoyed working on and detailing cars. Kevin was the brother of the late Doris Gerlack, Lorraine Joy, Naomi Hodgdon, Grace Locke, Helen Davis, Henry Joy and Beverly Price, who passed away just one day after him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Barbara M. (Gerlack) Joy; his two children, Tonia M. Joy and her fiance David Drew and Brian K. Joy and his fiance Vanessa Moss. He was the grandfather to Cody Joy, Cheyenne Teeter and Kayleigh Joy. He was the great grandfather to Mason Styles, Raelyn Osterman and Jayce Osterman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 1 P.M. in Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield.
