BEDFORD- Mr. Kevin D. Hardy, Jr., 49, of Bedford, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 25, 2022.
Born in Manchester, Kevin was the son of Kathy Aubin of Pittsfield and the late Kevin D. Hardy, Sr. He was raised primarily in Pembroke and Allenstown.
For the past four years, Kevin was employed by American Tire Distributors as a deliveryman. Prior to that, he spent over 16 years as a tow-truck operator.
Kevin was the co-founder of the JAK Kustoms Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting various Veteran's programs.
He had a great love of cars and enjoyed working on them. His prized 1996 Dodge Ram and 1970 Chevy Nova were his "other wives." He enjoyed enduro racing, music and was an avid Budweiser aficionado.
In addition to his mother, Kevin is survived by his wife, Jennifer L. (Perkins) Hardy; his children: Kristyn Hardy, Kevin Hardy and Daniel Hardy all of ME, Zachary Hardy of Franklin and Katelyn Berteau, Logan Hardy and Kamden Berteau all of Manchester. He is also survived by two stepchildren: Brandon Perkins of Manchester and Tabatha Neeper of Raymond; two grandchildren, Dominic and Mia; his siblings: Keith D. Hardy and his significant other, Kathy of Merrimack, Krystal St. Jean of Manchester, Jenny Powers of Claremont and Sarah Hodgon of Center Barnstead. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, including Kody, Konner, Anthony, Cody, Brent, Brett and Tyler.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd from 5 to 8 P.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Celebration of His Life will be held at a later time.
