Kenneth W. (Butch) Blackey, 77, of Pittsfield, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord.

He was born in Concord on May 17, 1948 to the late Ralph Blackey, Sr. and Doris (Dodge) Blackey Green.

Butch lived his entire life in Pittsfield, attending local schools he graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1968. He worked his entire career in the Lumber industry, both with Pittsfield Box and Lumber as well as Middleton Lumber in Middleton, NH. Kenneth enjoyed going fishing, gardening and telling stories.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Archie Green, brothers, Larry and David Blackey and sister, Kathleen Green.

He is survived by brothers, Ralph Blackey (Linda) of NH, William Blackey (Debra) of FL and Sam Blackey (Cheryl) of AZ as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 10AM at Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Granite VNA Hospice, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301.
