Epsom – Kathleen A. Kandar, 77, of Epsom, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, February 21, 2025. She was born on January 16, 1948 in Derry, daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Oikle) Fossett. Kathleen was incredibly social, which served her well while waitressing in the early years of her life – she could strike up a conversation with anyone. She also loved beautiful things, and she enjoyed making people feel beautiful as well, and worked for many years as a beautician. Her love for beautiful things carried over into her decorating, where she could not help herself with blinging out her apartment with anything that sparkled or was pink. Kathleen also loved music, including playing the piano. In her later years she cherished when family and friends came to visit, playing just about any game of cards. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by six siblings. She is survived by her children. Stephen Yeaton and his partner, Judi Howden of Loudon, Christopher Yeaton and his wife Kathleen of Sandy Hook, CT and Amanda Grogan and her husband Cory of Berwick, ME. She also leaves behind three grandchildren that she adored, Chase and Kaitlin Yeaton and Alivia Grogan, along with eight siblings, Ruth, Judy, Joanne, Vern, Laurie, Sandy, Vicky, Denise and Brian as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 8th from 1PM-3PM with a funeral service to be held in the funeral home at 2:30PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom.
