She enjoyed shopping (especially for shoes), visiting the ocean and seeing dolphins. She enjoyed fast cars and was always telling funny stories. Karen had a knack for crafts and took up knitting to help others.
She is survived by her children: Colleen Yout and her family, Brendan Yout and his family, Caitlin Metcalfe and her family, her sister Dorothy Richardson, as well as her fiance, Alfred LeBouef with whom she shared 13 years.
A private family gathering will be held. Those wishing to honor Karen's life can make a donation to the New Hampshire SPCA.
