CONCORD - Joshua R. DeVeer, 26, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Joshua was born on June 12, 1997, to Rita (Gagne) Hunt and Gerald DeVeer. Joshua will be remembered for his selfless passionate and kind heart. He would often put his own troubles aside to help anyone in need. He had a profound love for Jesus that shone bright in his actions. He had no limits to the amount of knowledge he was willing to learn. His love for reading allowed him to learn about anything and everything. Joshua's intelligence, humor and quick wit will always be remembered. If anyone needed information about anything and everything, they just asked the "Search Engine Josh". Another favorite pastime was reading Manga books and watching Anime as well as writing poetry and lyrics. His beautiful smile and radiant light will be cherished and missed deeply by all who knew Josh. In addition to his parents, Joshua leaves behind his step parents: Rick Hunt and Erica DeVeer, two brothers: Andrew DeVeer and his partner Jess Stevens, Tyler DeVeer and his partner Marci Williams; step siblings: Alyssa and Brian Nault and Rob Hunt and his partner Sara Chevrette; his grandparents: Antoinette and Charles Hamlett; his nephews: Enzo VanDeVeer, Sawyer and Landon Nault; and his nieces: Tenley and Adylan Hunt. He is predeceased by his grandparents: Gerald and Linda DeVeer and Gerard Gagne. Calling hours will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 from 6-8pm at Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 180 Loudon Rd, Concord.
