Chichester – John E. Snow, 89, of Chichester, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 surrounded by those that loved him following a period of declining health.
John was born on December 6, 1934 in Lowell, MA, son of the late Ralph and Gladys (Brotz) Snow.
Mr. Snow was one of a kind, he was loved by all who met him. He worked for many years at Tractor Supply as a Maintenance Assembly until his retirement. He spent over 7 years working at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord and was fondly known as the "Miracle Man" a title he held dear. He enjoyed being outdoors gardening, as well as anything and everything to do with tractors, of which he owned over 25 throughout his life. He could be found bird watching or feeding his birds regularly, they will certainly miss him.
Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his first wife, Alvina D. (Hurd) Snow in 2004 and his second wife, Catherine A. (Healey) Snow in 2024 as well as a sister, Rachel Crane.
He is survived by his four daughters, Mickey King, Mona Freese, Kathleen Simons and Valerie Gendron, sister, Martha Cushing as well as nieces and nephews, Joanne Beane, Roger Crane, Thomas Cushing and Tamara Palmer.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 11AM at the Wilkins Cemetery, Old County Road North in Deering.
