CONCORD – Joan Ayer, 52, of Concord, passed away following years of health complications on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1972 in Lowell, MA, daughter of Lillian (Johnson) Laferriere and the late Paul Laferriere. Joan was a kind soul, always there when you needed a hug or someone to talk to. She loved making jewelry, drawing and working on other arts and crafts. Besides her mother, she is survived by her companion of 15 years, Robert Thomas, her children, Danny, Paul and Desiree, her five sisters, Donna Nagle, Wonda Langlois, Linda Bouchard, Brenda Laferriere and Lorraine Laferriere, nieces and nephews, Katie, Christopher, Michael, Crystal, Michael, Melissa, Brian, Steve and Anastasia, one granddaughter, Olivia.
