Obituary

ALLENSTOWN- Mrs. Jeannine D. (Gaumont) Hebert, 87, of Allenstown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on July 31, 2023 after a long period of declining health. Born in Manchester, Jeannine was the daughter of the late Rosario and Beatrice (Viens) Gaumont. She was raised and educated in Allenstown and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy. Jeannine was the glue that held her family together, whether it be operating the family business, Hebert's Electric, alongside her husband, Del, or staying home to raise her family. These feats were nothing short of remarkable. In later years, Jeannine became a familiar face in the Pembroke Schools, primarily the Village School, during her work as a Lunch's Aide. She went above and beyond for "her kids," often helping those in need without the need for recognition. Jeannine was an avid bowler and dedicated New England sports fan, especially to her beloved Red Sox. Her dedication and love to family was second to none. Her passing leaves a great void but her afterglow remains in the hearts of all who loved her. She was predeceased by her husband, Adelard "Del" Hebert; her son: Daniel Hebert and two siblings: Arthur and Yvette Gaumont. Jeannine is survived by her children: Suzanne Hebert, Mark Hebert and Lisa Hebert all of Allenstown and Thomas Hebert and his wife Kristin of Hooksett. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Ryan Hebert, Emily Hoyt, Danielle Hebert, Mackenzie Harriman and Cameron Harriman; her great grandchildren: Evelyn Walter, Owen Walter, Madelyn Hoyt and another on the way; and her brother, Richard Gaumont and his wife Claire of Allenstown. In accordance with her wishes, her funeral service and burial will be held privately with the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 15 Constitution Dr. Suite 1G, Bedford, NH 03110. Assisting the family with arrangements is The Roan Family Funeral Home of Pembroke. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
