Ossipee - Jeannie M. Woolf, of Ossipee passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness on January 4th. Jeannie was born in Concord, NH on January 23, 1964 the daughter of the late Jean and Irene (Arsenault) Lemay. A 1982 graduate of Pembroke Academy. Jeannie enjoyed her summers at Lake Masasecum with family and friends. She was an avid hiker with her son and granddaughter in the White Mountains conquering the 48 four thousand footers. A US Postal employee for over 30 years, serving as a mail carrier in Pembroke and Allenstown, a mail clerk in North Conway, Ossipee, Sandwich, Moultonborough and Freedom. Jeannie was a desert shield /desert storm Veteran, she proudly served in the Air Force from 1982 to 1992. Being stationed in the Azores Portugal, Little Rock Arkansas, Incirlik and Air Base Turkey. Besides her parents Jeannie was predeceased by her brother, Timothy Lemay. Members of her family include her husband of 34 years, John Woolf; son, Bryant Combs of Ossipee, NH; grandchildren, Kyliegh-May, Trip and Grey Combs; sister, Cheryl Proulx and her husband, Marcel; brother, Jean Lemay and his wife, Jo-Ann and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place at Roan Family Funeral Home, Pembroke, on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Allenstown on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10am. A committal service with Military Honors at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen will take place the same day at 12:30pm.
