HOOKSETT – Jeanne M. Lyon, 82, of Hooksett, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester.
Jeanne was born on April 20, 1943, in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (St. Pierre) Dockx She was a graduate of West High School, Class of 1961, where she spent four years on the gymnastics team and was named most athletic.
Following high school, Jeanne went on to get her real estate license and ran her own company, Lyon Realty for many years. She loved to entertain and be social, spending time with her family, going to street rod events with her husband or one of their many cruises, especially to St. Maarten. In their younger years they even climbed Mt. Washington in only sneakers!
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John "Jack" Dockx.
She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Lyon of Hooksett, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Children, Sherry Lyon of Las Vegas, NV; Stacy Plourde and her husband Edward "Ed" of Hooksett and Debra Piotrowski and her husband Thomas "Tom" of Hooksett, siblings, Richard Dockx and his wife Jan of Manchester, Peter Dockx and his wife Marilyn of Valley Village, CA and Susan Spagna and her husband Frank of Goffstown, grandchildren, Ryan Plourde, Sarah E. Plourde, Gavin Piotrowski and Ethan Piotrowski as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A period of visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 9:30am-10:30am at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM at Holy Rosary Church, 21 Main Street, Hooksett. Interment will follow at Head Cemetery in Hooksett.
