Bedford – Jeanne C. Levasseur, 98, of Bedford formerly of Hooksett, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Bowman Place assisted living facility.
She was born on August 17, 1926 in Hooksett, daughter of the late Joseph Romeo and Agnes (Campbell) Courchesne.
For many years Jeanne was a homemaker, raising her three kids, working in her garden and on keeping her yard looking pristine. She worked alongside her husband for several years at their home archery business making arrows and keeping the business running. She enjoyed staying active and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Armand "Al" Levasseur in 2011, as well as two daughters, Linda Demers and Patti Fowler, three siblings, Bernadette, Arthur and Phil.
She is survived by her son, Richard Levasseur of Manchester, three siblings, Eddie Courchesne and his wife Evelyn, Armand Courchesne and his wife Lillian and Theresa Chevrette and her husband Gerry, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
