Dover - Jean E. Turner, 96, of Dover, formerly of Brentwood, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Dover Rehabilitation Center with family by her side. Born on October 19, 1926 in Billerica, MA, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Hilda True. Jean was educated in the local schools and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from New England Baptist College. She worked for many years as a registered nurse for Hale Hospital in Haverhill. Jean enjoyed all aspects of horses, riding, training and caring for them for many years alongside her son. She loved to read and craft with sewing and needlepoint. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Laban Turner in 1982. She is survived by her children, Ronald Turner and his wife Kathy of Hampstead, Deborah Mastromarino of Pittsfield, Peter Turner and his wife Joanne of Strafford, John Turner and his wife Donna of Meredith, Robert Turner of Brentwood, Patrick Turner of Pittsfield and Charles Turner of Brentwood, ten grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes there are no services scheduled at this time. She will be interred with her husband in Hampstead at a later date.
