Pittsfield – Janette Lee "Jan" Beauchamp, 70, of Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Concord Hospital. She was born on July 12, 1954, in Cheboygan, MI, daughter of the late Robert H. and Ethel A. (Kucik) Beauchamp. Jan graduated from Bronson High School in Bronson, MI in 1972. She went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in social relations from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI in 1979. Jan will be remembered for her fierce love of animals and her sweet generous soul. She is survived by her twin sister, Nan Adamson of Pittsfield and her late husband, Tom; sister, Teresa Sydor and her husband, Neil of Sewickley, PA; brothers, Jim Beauchamp of Houston, TX and Charlie Beauchamp and his wife, Retha of Somerville, TX; beloved cat, Sheba; and several cousins. There are no services scheduled at this time. Jan will be laid to rest with her parents at the Lakeview Cemetery in Mackinaw City, MI at a later date.
