James L. Winslow, 89, of Concord, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Concord Hospital. He was born in Shippen Township, Pennsylvania on June 25, 1935 to the late Francis and Grace (Gontera) Winslow. James honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and working on cars with the boys. James is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years: Loretta (Damrodas) Winslow; his three sons: Michael Winslow and his wife Kathy, Steven Winslow and his wife Sherri and David Winslow and his wife Kathryn; his four grandchildren: Christopher Winslow and his wife Courtney, Austin Winslow and his wife Sarah, Alexander Winslow and Matthew Winslow; his two great grandchildren: Penelope and Eleanor Winslow; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James is predeceased by his siblings: Frank Winslow and his wife Betty, Catherine Newton and her husband Marvin, Jean Winslow and Alvin Winslow. A celebration of life will take place at the Roan Family Funeral Home - Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Hwy in Epsom on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm.
