BOSCAWEN- James C "Jim" Martin, 41, of Boscawen, passed away at home on Monday, April 4, 2022 from long-term complications of diabetes. Born in Concord, Jim was the son of John and Terry Martin of Webster and Nancy (Martin) and Brian Halsey of Concord. Jim was educated in the local schools and went on to earn his Bachelors of Science from Keene State College. He worked years as an IT specialist. He excelled with computers. He was the go to tech guy for his entire extended family. Jim was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, he enjoyed history, bickering with his family about politics and he loved cats. One special memory was his trip with his father to Lambeau Stadium to watch their beloved Packers! Jim was also a member of the Homestead Community which was like a second family to him. He was both a friend and mentor to the men that lived there. In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by his daughters, Heaven Martin (Dylan Willett) and Arista Martin (her mother Jessica Clark); his brother Kenny Ohlson; sisters Heidi Ohlson (Travis Heath), Rachel Carpenter (Phillip Carpenter), nieces and nephews, Lauren Heath, Lexi Renkert, Natalie and Dean Carpenter as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11AM at Webster Congregational Church, 1011 Long Street, Webster, NH with a gathering immediately following at the Webster Town Hall.
