Laconia - Jacquelyn Adams, 78 of Laconia passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Concord Hospital following a period of declining health. She was born on January 30, 1945 in Gardner, ME, daughter of the late Ananda Wilson Adams and Leona (Orff) Esancy. Jacquelyn worked for many years as a government meat inspector for ME, NH and NY, a job she was extremely proud of and later got her licensed as a CNA and was employed with the Odd Fellows Home in Concord for over 10 years. She was extremely artistic and enjoyed making artwork of all kinds, reading, completing crossword puzzles, listening to music and watching comedy shows. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Heather C. Till, a grandson, Matthew, brother-in-law, Larry Curtis. She is survived by her son, Derek Adams of Laconia, granddaughter, Cora Dolley, grandson, Caleb Adams, siblings, Olive Adams of Searsmont, ME, Bette Curtis of Unity, ME, Scott Esancy and his wife Christine of Appleton, ME Becky Curtis and her husband Delton of Thorndike, ME, great grandchildren, Leo and Charlene Leclerc and Johanna Laurell, a foreign exchange student that Jacquelyn opened her home to and considered a second daughter from Kouvola, Finland as well as nieces and nephews.
