EPSOM- Mrs. Isabelle M. (Martin) Pomerleau, 78, of Epsom, passed away unexpectedly at the Concord Hospital surrounded by her loving family on February 1, 2022. Born in Ste. Rose Du Degelis, Quebec, Canada, Isabelle was the daughter of the late Wilbrod and Isabelle (Beaulieu) Martin. She was raised in Canada before moving to Lawrence, MA at the age of 18. Prior to her retirement, Isabelle was employed for over 20 years as a CNA for the Tewksbury State Hospital. She retired to Freedom, NH and later settled in Epsom. She was a faithful member of the Epsom Bible Church and was a past member of the quilting group in Freedom. She also volunteered her time for the Pittsfield Meals-On-Wheels. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, gardening, camping and traveling. Above all else, her family, especially her grandchildren were her everything. She was a true angel who will be greatly missed. Isabelle was predeceased by her brothers, Gerard, Marcelle, Richard and Robert Martin. She is survived by her husband of nearly 38 years, David W. Pomerleau, Sr; her children: Deborah Cabral and her husband Ronald of Lawrence, MA, Paula Hogan and her fiance Dave Rollins of Gilmanton, NH Christine Bruneau and her significant other Gary Flaherty of Salem, NH, Wayne Pare and his wife Nicole of Freedom, NH, Samantha Berard of Methuen, MA, Janine Perry and her husband Dan of Allenstown, NH, Vicki Bergeron and her husband Rob of SC and David Pomerleau, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Salem, NH; her siblings: Michael Martin, Marrielle Dumont, Jeannine Dube, Jacqueline Lavoie, Jacques Martin, Johnny Martin, Monique Martin and Colette Martin all of Canada; 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, February 6th from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 7th at 11 A.M. in the Epsom Bible Church, 398 Black Hall Rd. in Epsom. The service will be live-streamed and those unable to attend may view remotely at https://ebcnh.online.church/. Burial will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
