ALLENSTOWN- Mrs. Helen M. (Muller) Martel, 99, of Allenstown, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2025. Born in Manchester, Helen was the daughter of the late Paul and Irene (Coulombe) Muller. She was raised and educated in Allenstown and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy Class of 1943. She later began working at Rumford Press in Concord and later worked as a weaver for Suncook Woven Label for over 44 years. Helen enjoyed crafts of all kinds, be it knitting, crocheting or painting. She also enjoyed gardening. She was the proud recipient of the Boston Post Cane from the Town of Allenstown. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Lester L. Martel in 1999; her daughter, Florence in 2003 and her brother, Paul Muller in 2013. She is survived by her granddaughters, Kelley (English) Noel and her husband David and Sheryl English. She is also survived by her niece and nephew as well as her grandnieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Willow. At the request of the family, a Graveside Service will be held in the spring at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Allenstown.
