Heather Marie Campbell Mahanes, of Barnstead, New Hampshire, died, at the age of 41 on August 17, 2022. Her untimely death was unexpected and our family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Heather graced the Earth on May 8, 1981 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Her parents, Archie and Kim Campbell loved Heather with their whole hearts. Archie, Kim, and Heather moved to New Hampshire permanently in 1989, where they built a life surrounded by family and friends. Heather and family settled their roots into their home in Barnstead, known as Calamity Farm.
After graduating Pittsfield High School in 2000, she went on to earn an Associates Degree in Education at New Hampshire Technical Institute in 2012. She furthered her education and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in English at Plymouth State University in 2016. She was a creative poet and some of her work was published in 2015.
Heather is predeceased by her dad, Archie "Eddie" Campbell III. She is survived by her mom, Kim Campbell; husband, Allen "Curtis" Mahanes; son, Owen, and daughter, Avery. She also leaves behind her mother-in- law and father-in-law, Kathy and Max Mahanes and their children and families; as well as, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a very loyal friend group who she considered family.
