CONCORD- Gretchen A. Markee, 39, of Concord, passed away suddenly at home on July 11, 2021. Born in Salem, MA, Gretchen was the daughter of Fred Markee of Concord and Debora (Blanchette) Tadiello of Tilton. She was raised and educated in Topsfield, MA and was a graduate of Masconomet High School Class of 2000. Gretchen had been employed as a Patient Care Coordinator for Concord Orthopaedics. Growing up, Gretchen enjoyed dancing and cheerleading. She was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan and also enjoyed music, going to concerts and fishing. Above all else, she loved and cherished her two children. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two children: Ryder Markee and Samantha Piwoski and their father, Daniel Piwoski. She was the sister to Dawn Clermont of Manchester and Craig Markee of Franklin. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, July 16th from 5 to 7 P.M. in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 17th at 10 A.M. in Christ the King Parish in Concord. Burial will take place at a later date.
