PITTSFIELD - Gregory J. "Greg" Butler, 45, of Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly at work on Monday, December 12, 2022.
Born in Danvers, MA on September 3, 1977, he was the son of Bernadette (Sirois) Butler of Pittsfield and the late Albert J. Butler.
Greg cannot be summed up in a few paragraphs, he was larger than life, A devoted husband, father, son and so much more. He helped without question, loved without boundaries, hardworking, easy going, wise, generous and admirable. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan, music fanatic and former soccer player. He enjoyed hiking, kayaking and being outdoors in general. He spoke his mind and therefore left nothing unsaid but he did leave a hole in many hearts, he will be greatly missed but the memories are priceless. He was employed with Eastern Vent System as a Sheet Metal Mechanic for over 20 years.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife and soul mate, Erin E. (Grundy) Butler of Pittsfield, whom he fell in love with at the age of 15 and never let go. His daughter who brought him much joy, Courtney Butler of Pittsfield, siblings, Ellen, Sharon, Janice, Bernadette, Brian, Edward, Russell and Anthony as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 18th from 12PM-2PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home - Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, EPSOM.
