ALLENSTOWN - Germaine (Dion) Richard, 91, beloved wife of the late Roland Richard, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Concord Hospital. She was born on October 6, 1932 in Pembroke and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Senneville) Dion. Germaine graduated from Pembroke Academy Class of 1951. In 1954 she married Roland and worked as an insurance service representative her whole career. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling. Germaine is survived by her daughter: Elaine Laverdiere and her husband James; her two grandchildren: Keith Laverdiere and his wife Fawn, Christine Mullings and her husband Greg; four great-grandchildren: Jayden, Sophie, Maeva, Liam; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her two sisters: Florence Courtemanche and Doris Shackford. Per Germaine's request, there will be a private Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church followed by a burial in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
