Obituary

Geraldine “Gerri” Elaine (Perkins) (Lawler) Beaudin of Sedona, AZ, and Manchester, NH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 31, 2026, with family by her side at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH.

Gerri was born on October 22, 1940, in Lewiston, Maine. She was the daughter of the late Marion (Quinby) and Gerald Perkins. She was the middle child of 5 siblings.

Gerri graduated from Falmouth High School in Falmouth, ME, in 1959. She continued her education at University of New Hampshire, studying early childhood education. A young wife and mother, she was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and baking. She raised her family in Falmouth, ME, Amherst, NH, Bow, NH, and Holderness, NH.

Gerri had a love of the ocean. When visiting family, she always made it a point to take a trip over to enjoy the coast of Maine and New Hampshire, as well as vacationing in Hawaii. She enjoyed live musical performances, having attended numerous performances over the years and many over the past year. She was an avid Patriots fan, even while living in AZ for many years. Gerri recently had the privilege of attending a game in person and was thrilled by the experience. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 she had the privilege of being able to watch her favorite team, the New England Patriots in the Superbowl on tv with the beautiful views while in Hawaii.

Gerri moved to Sun Lakes, AZ, in 1986 to enjoy the sunshine and warmer temperatures. She later moved to Sedona, AZ, before moving back to Manchester, NH, to be closer to family.

Her career included life insurance sales as Vice President at Merrill Lynch for over 10 years. In 1998, she had a career change to financial planning and held the title of Account Vice President at UBS for over 12 years before she opened her own brokerage, LPL Financial LLC, in 2010. Gerri retired from LPL in 2019.

Gerri enjoyed being active and giving back to the communities she lived in over the years. She was an active member of the Amherst Junior Woman’s Club and the Parent Teacher Organization in the 70’s. She became a member of the Concord Junior Woman's Club prior to starting the Bow Junior Woman's Club. She was a member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization), an organization that celebrates the advancement of women through scholarships, grants, loans and awards. She was an active member of the Sun Lakes and Sedona Rotary Clubs. Gerri held the position of President of the club from 1996-1997. A dedicated community figure, Gerri served as an active club member and had been a Rotarian for 34 years. She was a recipient of the 5-stone Paul Harris Fellow award. This recognition is one of Rotary International's highest honors, awarded to individuals who demonstrate a profound commitment to the organization’s mission and the principle of "Service Above Self.”

Gerri was predeceased by her husband of 34 years Alfred “Al” Rosario Beaudin who passed away on January 17, 2021; brother, Kenneth Perkins; and sister, Patricia Dienst.

She leaves behind 3 children, son, Kevin Lawler and wife, Barbara of Bow, NH, daughter, Karin Duchesne and husband, Douglas of Nashua, NH and daughter, Kathleen Trantham and husband, Roger of Contoocook, NH; stepchildren, Raymond Beaudin, Sandi Carpentier and husband, Brian, Joe Beaudin and wife, Shauna and John Beaudin; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; brothers, Laurence Perkins and wife, Nancy of Readfield, ME, and Ronald Perkins and wife, Jan of Lexington, VA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
