BARNSTEAD- Mr. Gary D. Volpe, 64, of Barnstead, passed away unexpectedly at the Catholic Medical Center on December 5, 2022. Born in Concord, Gary was the son of the late Frank C. and Clara E. (Smith) Volpe. He was raised and educated in Pittsfield and Barnstead, where he remained for most of his life. Gary was the owner of Volpe Realty, which he operated for over 30 years. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Loudon Country Club. He greatly enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling and spending time at Loon Pond. He loved his dogs and cats and also cherished spending time with his family as well as Sylvie's sons, their wives and all of her grandchildren. Gary is survived by his daughter: Vanessa Shea and her husband Orion of Loudon; his two grandchildren, Kylah and Maximus Shea as well as his longtime, loving companion of 17 years, Sylvie Forcier. He is also survived by countless friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 17th from 1 to 3 P.M. in the Roan Family Funeral Home - Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.
