Frank True, 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in his home in Pittsfield, where he spent the majority of his life. He was born on March 8, 1944 in Concord and was the youngest child of the late Maurice and Winnie (Hilliard) True. He was married to Ruthi (Pender) True for 60 years.
In high school, Frank worked at the local A+P and then worked many years with Bob Feeny. He retired as a lineman for NH Electric Co. after 38 years. Frank always loved having a big garden and enjoyed picking blueberries, raspberries and rhubarb he planted himself. He also planted apple trees that the deer loved. Frank loved dogs, and spoiled his chihuahua, Tripper, on a daily basis. He loved trying new restaurants, tending to everything in his yard, feeding the birds, being on his tractor and cutting wood. He enjoyed yard sales, going to antique shops, watching hot air balloons fly by and going to Americade on their motorcycles. Frank brought the best raingear, but when driving, would never stop until he was completely soaked and cold to put it on. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his beloved wife, Frank leaves behind his daughters: Dulcey and her husband Rob Miller, Vicki True and her partner David Price, Jr.; his grandson: David Price, III and his wife Annelyse; his sister: Martha Nickerson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
