CENTER BARNSTEAD- Mr. Francis A. Conti, 90, of Center Barnstead, passed away at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover on September 7, 2022 after a period of declining health. Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Frank and Hazel (Wicker) Conti. He was raised and educated in Rhode Island and was a graduate of Attleboro High School in Massachusetts. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he would spend his career and proudly served his country for over 20 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander in 1971. Frank enjoyed golfing, bowling with his wife as well as watching baseball and football. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kristina Conti. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marsha (Packer) Conti; his two sons, Bruce A. Conti of Nashua and Michael F. Conti and his wife Maureen of Vestal, NY. He was the grandfather to Allen Conti, John Conti, Alexandra Normandin, Christopher Normandin and Ean Conti. In accordance with his wishes, a private committal will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
