KINGSTON - Evelyn L. Carmel, 77, formerly of Pembroke, New Hampshire passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Born on July 19, 1947, the daughter of the late Kenneth R. Owen and Ruth D. Davis (Bessette). Evelyn had a deep love for all animals especially dogs. Evelyn had worked for the State of New Hampshire for more than 40 years in various departments. Her most favorite job was being a child support specialist. Besides her parents Evelyn is pre-deceased by her uncle, Clarence Leon Bessette and her nephew, Leo K. Witham. Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Rene Carmel; niece, Marcia Witham; siblings, Shirley and Keith Owen and other nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Roan Family Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Spring at the Gilmanton South Road Cemetery.
