ALLENSTOWN – Ernest R. “Ernie” Booker; 81, of Allenstown, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025; at Concord Hospital with family by his side. He was born on January 28, 1944, in Manchester, son of the late James Booker and Irene (Desrochers) Noden. Ernie was educated in the local schools and went on to serve his country in the United States Army. For over 40 years, Ernie proudly drove tractor-trailers, a profession he greatly enjoyed. Mr. Booker was a hard-working family man who cherished time spent with family and friends. His favorite pastimes were fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles on his computer, and admiring vintage cars and trucks. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, James Booker. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Beland) Booker, of Allenstown, with whom he shared sixty-two years of marriage, his children, Cynthia Boisvert and her husband Norman of North Port, FL; Karen Clark of Milton, FL and Richard E. Booker and his wife Katie of Pembroke, eleven grandchildren, Amanda Boisvert, Samuel Booker, Grace Booker, Lily Booker, Amelia Booker, Joseph Leduc, Jaclyn Lazzari, April Firoz, Lucas Roberts, Daniel Roberts and Shane Jr. Roberts, three great-grandchildren, Tucker, Tatum and Miles as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 10AM-11AM at St. John the Baptist Church, School Street, Allenstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held beginning at 11AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Road, Manchester. The Roan Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
