Emily R. Beauchesne, 35, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2026. Born in Portsmouth, NH, Emily was the daughter of Michael Knight and the late Mary Elizabeth Knight. She was raised and educated in North Hampton and was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of New Hampshire. She was employed as a Veterinary Technician for Pembroke Animal Hospital. Emily's life revolved around her children. She enjoyed taking pictures and videos of them as well as attending their sporting events and her daughter's dancing. She loved to teach them about her love of anything Disney and loved talking in each character's voices when reading to them at night. Emily also enjoyed going out to eat at different ethnic restaurants and loved going to the beach. She also shared a love of the theater with her late mother. Emily is survived by her beloved wife, Samantha Beauchesne, with whom she shared 9 years of marriage; her two children: Rowan and Leila Beauchesne as well as her father, Michael Knight and her three siblings: Hannah Graham and husband, Colin Graham, Adam Knight and Rachel Knight. A Time of Remembrance will be held on Friday, May 22nd at 4 P.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. Memorial Visitation will follow until 6 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in Emily's memory may be sent to Pembroke Animal Hospital for an Angel fund for those pets in need.
