Concord – Elizabeth C. Walsh, 93, of Concord, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Presidential Oaks in Concord. She was born on February 18, 1932 in Ossining, NY; daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Curtis) Coudreaut. Elizabeth attended the local school, graduating from Ossining High School, Class of 1950 and went on to graduate from Georgetown School of Nursing in 1953. In 1955 as newlyweds, she and her husband Arthur moved to Michigan and both began working at Detroit Receiving Hospital, she began her career in the Pediatrics Unit. In 1960 the family moved to NH, starting a family, she took pride in being able to stay home with them. In 1978, the family moved to a small island in the South Pacific called Ponape in Micronesia as her husband continued his work in healthcare and in 1979, they returned to NH. In 1988 Elizabeth began working for NH Health and Human Services and did so for the next 10 years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing the piano, knitting and traveling, most especially to Europe every year. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Walsh in December of 2024, a daughter, Sydney A. Walsh and two siblings, William Coudreaut and Mary Alice Coudreaut. She is survived by her children, Bernard A. Walsh of MA, Stephanie M. Cox of Tilton, Jon P. Walsh of Concord and David I. Walsh of FL; five grandchildren, Alicia M. Levesque of Tilton, Desiree L. Cox of FL, Cody P. Walsh of Concord, Chance Walsh of FL, Sydney Walsh of FL; two great-grandchildren, Lucas A. Cox and Wyatt A. Fusic as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
