HOOKSETT – Edmond H. Nadeau, 68, a lifelong resident of Hooksett, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at home surrounded by the love of his family.
He was born on August 10, 1957, in Manchester, NH, the son of the late Thomas O. and Fernande G. (Lesmerises) Nadeau.
Ed was raised and educated in Hooksett, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and the community he loved. For more than 30 years, he worked as a horse groomer for Leroy Copeland and Ed Hennessey, taking tremendous pride in the care of the horses and in a job he truly enjoyed. Outside of work, Ed found happiness riding motorcycles, spending time fishing, and gathering with family and friends. He never passed up the chance for a good party, and some of his greatest joys came from sharing laughter and making memories with those he loved most. Ed will be remembered for his warm smile, easygoing nature, and the deep love he had for his family. He had a kind heart, a positive outlook on life, and a way of making those around him feel welcome.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Dave Berube.
He is survived by his siblings, Paul R. Nadeau and his wife, Julie, of Auburn, Oliver Nadeau of Hooksett, Claudette Nadeau of Hooksett, Doreen Korakas and her husband, Alex, of Franklin, and Leann Berube of Manchester; his nieces and nephews, Peter Korakas, Soula Day, Scott Nadeau, Bruce Nadeau, Eleashia Ball, Kaitlyn Liome, Bryanna Nadeau, Windy Nadeau, KarryAnn Nadeau and husband, Mike Kelly, Chrisoula and her husband, Jeremy, Nicole Berube, and Dane Berube; as well as his cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Kaylee, Jayden, Peter, Sojourn, Winter, Vespa Milo, Chitam, Nova, Toby, Jacob, and Marques and sister-in-law, Irene (Courchesne) Nadeau all of whom will miss his presence and the joy he brought to family gatherings.
