EPSOM- Mrs. Edith L. (McCormack) Raymond, 66, of Epsom, passed away suddenly at the Concord Hospital on August 28, 2022 after a sudden illness. Born in Concord, Edie was the daughter of the late Bernard P. and Marjorie A. (Atwell) McCormack. She was raised and educated in Pembroke and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy Class of 1973. In earlier years, she was employed by Merchant's Insurance in Bedford. For the past 34 years, she was the office manager for Raymond Brothers Steel Erectors. Edie loved spending time at her pool and had a gift for drawing with pen and ink. She also enjoyed crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph McCormack. Edie is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Michael G. Raymond and her siblings: Kathleen McCormack of Pembroke, Sharon Burgess of Kalispell, MT, Paul McCormack of Hooksett, Donna Walp of St. George, UT, Linda Lavertu of Epsom and Diane Silva of Virginia. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, September 9th from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home - Still Oaks Chapel 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.
