Obituary

Passing on the same date as her mother, Dolly, nine years later at the age of 61, Donna Ruggles LaLiberte died the morning of July 13th at 7:00 AM from cardiac complications with her husband beside her. Donna, the fifth of eleven siblings, born on June 22, 1962 spent her childhood years in Concord, New Hampshire before moving to Texas with her mother and sisters in her teenage years. She graduated from Red Oak High School in 1980. Donna became a mother on January 18th, 1984 giving birth to her only son, Doug, now an awarded military veteran having gone on tours with the Army to Afghanistan and Iraq from 2005 to 2010. Donna married her life partner of 15 years, Earl, in a small Autumn reception last year. Meeting in Concord, Earl quickly became an integral part of Donna's life and family. Often joking that he couldn't live without her, Donna knew she was lucky in finding him. An avid lover of animals, Donna rescued several cats and a dog over the years making them a part of the family and providing them with a happy home. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and over dinner with friends and family. Christmas was her favorite time of year when she would decorate the house and watch Hallmark movies. Those who knew her, know that Mickey and Mini Mouse memorabilia were her favorite gifts to receive. With a laugh that could be heard three rooms away, Donna got great joy from spoiling her friends, her nieces, and her grandson, Kieran James. She is survived by her husband, son, grandson, her parents, Jon and Jackie; her sisters, Sharon, Margie, Cheryl, Toni, and Lynda; and her brothers, Tommy, Norman, Dave, and Chris. A celebration of life will be held for Donna on Friday, July 21st at the Red Blazer in Concord from 12:00-4:00 PM. The Roan Family Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements.
