BARNSTEAD – Dolores A. Miner, 71, a longtime resident of Barnstead, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26, 2026, with her loving family by her side after a period of declining health.

Born on October 1, 1954, in Concord, NH, she was the daughter of the late Harold Ashley Miner, Sr. and Marjorie Meriedith (Wade) Miner.

She worked for more than twenty years as a clerk at the Concord Department of Motor Vehicles. Dolores loved playing the guitar, especially alongside family members who shared her passion for music. She cherished time spent with her beloved family, particularly with her mother, Mickey, before her passing. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother who worked tirelessly to provide a wonderful life for her son.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her son, Roland Emerson and her brother, Dennis Alan Miner.

She is survived by her son, Russell Emerson of Barnstead; granddaughter, Willow Miner; siblings, David Miner of Barnstead, Harold Miner Jr. and his wife, Donna of Barnstead and Wanda Cummings and her husband, John of Loudon; and many nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Dolores will be laid to rest with her parents and brother at Riverview Cemetery in Barnstead on a day to be announced.
