Diane Hazel
Splett
Jun 22, 1961 — Oct 30, 2026
Loudon, NH
LOUDON – Diane Hazel (Fitts) Splett, 65, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Elliot Hospital. She grew up in Epsom, NH, and later made her home in Loudon. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Stanley Splett II, who passed away in 2005.
Diane was a kind, loving, and devoted woman with a quick wit, a little sass, and an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special. Whether you were family, a friend, a nurse, or someone who had just met her, she had a way of making you feel like the most important person in the room. Her genuine gratitude, warm compliments, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Diane found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time with family, playing Bingo, line dancing, mini golf, a good game of rummy or poker, and trying her luck at the casino. She enjoyed listening to Bob Seger, watching Lifetime, TV Land, and I Love Lucy, and laughing at the same episode for the 17th time. She loved to share stories and be surrounded by the people she cared about.
At the age of 45, Diane survived a devastating head-on collision that forever changed her life. For nearly two decades, she demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. Through every challenge, her humor, kindness, and appreciation for others remained unmistakably Diane.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her father, Richard C. Fitts Sr.
Above all, Diane was a devoted mother to Tyler Matthew Splett, Tonya Marie Splett, and Thomas Stanley Splett III; and a grandmother to six grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Norma Fitts; and her siblings, Duane Hardy, Donna Hardy, Joyce, Richard Fitts, and David Fitts; along with extended family and friends.
Diane will be remembered for her strength, her laughter, her generous heart, and the beautiful way she made everyone feel loved and valued.
In accordance with her wishes, there are no services scheduled at this time. The Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel in Epsom is assisting the family with arrangements. To share a memory or offer condolences, please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com.
