LOWELL, MA – Dennis J. Vallois, 70, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at Tufts New England Medical Center on Sunday, August 30, 2026, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Debra Vallois, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Dennis was born in Lowell on March 5, 1956, and was the son of the late Bernard and Lucille (St. Jean) Vallois.

Dennis worked as a maintenance technician for the City of Lowell’s Parks & Recreation Department throughout his entire career before retiring in 2018. He enjoyed playing Massachusetts Lottery scratch tickets, playing Keno, and going out to breakfast with his wife. He also enjoyed tinkering with small engines and working on small engine repairs. Dennis cherished family gatherings, but what he enjoyed most was the time he spent with his beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Vallois and Henri Vallois, and his sister-in-law, Sandra Vallois.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Debra; his son, Shaun, and his wife, Amy Vallois, and grandson, Tyler Vallois, all of Manchester, NH; his daughter, Rebecca, and her husband, Ryan Gilbert, and grandsons, Reegan and soon-to-be-born Baby Gilbert, all of Allenstown, NH; his brother, Donald, and his wife, Donna Vallois, of Dracut, MA; and his brother, Kenneth Vallois, of Lowell, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his lifelong friend, Dennis Morrissette.
