PEMBROKE- Mr. Dennis O. Nadeau, 72, of Pembroke, passed away unexpectedly at the Concord Hospital on April 15, 2025.
Born in Manchester, Dennis was the son of the late Normand "Joe" and Mary (Towle) Nadeau. A lifelong resident of Pembroke, he was raised and educated here and was a graduate of Pembroke Academy.
Following his graduation, Dennis enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country from 1972 to 1976, where he served as the leading machinery repairman.
Prior to his retirement, Dennis was employed as a machinist by Public Service of New Hampshire, a position he held for over 30 years. He was a member of the New Hampshire Trail Dawgs, the Deerhead Sportsmen's Club and the Hooksett American Legion Post 37.
An avid outdoorsman, Dennis was the winner of the Winnipesaukee Spring Fishing Derby in 1999. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, boating and spending time at the lake with family and friends. He was an avid Patriots fan and was well known for his football parties.
Dennis was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kim J. Nadeau as well as his sisters: Darlene Miner and Diane McGrath.
He is survived by his siblings: Douglas Nadeau of Rochester, Denise Dubuque and her husband Glen of Pembroke and Drina Nadeau of Suncook. He was the brother-in-law to Blake Miner and Brian McGrath and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday, April 25th from 5 to 7 P.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 10 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. Committal will be held on Monday, April 28th at 3 P.M. in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
