CHICHESTER- Mr. David J. Hartley, 69, of Chichester, passed away suddenly at home on April 25, 2026. Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Valente) Hartley. He was raised and educated in Chelmsford and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School. For many years, Dave was the owner and operator of Diamond Sign Design. His work was truly his hobby and his designs were well known throughout the local area. When he wasn't working, Dave enjoyed anything outdoors, be it fishing, skiing, waterskiing, boating or anything on the water. He is survived by his two children: Justin Hartley of Chichester and Kristen Hartley and her husband Benjamin Lowe of Delta, CO, her stepson and an expecting granddaughter soon. He was the brother to Carol Myott Hartley, Michael Hartley and Judy Hartley. A Celebration of His Life will be held by his family at a later date.
