PEMBROKE – Darlene D. Cole, 68, of Pembroke, passed away peacefully and surrounded by friends and family on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord. Darlene was born in Manchester on May 8, 1956, daughter of the late Robert and Dolores (Gagnon) Gagnon, after attending the local schools Darlene went on to work as a paraprofessional at Three Rivers School for many years. An Avid Red Sox fan, Darlene never turned down the chance to cheer on her favorite team, she loved gardening and spending time with her grandson, Dylan. Her love for animals got her into raising labradors for over 10 years. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allan "Skip" Cole in 2007 as well her brother, Michael Gagnon, her mother and father-in-law, Allan Cole and Nancy (Peabody) Wright. She is survived by her son Derek Cole, daughter, Shana Cole, her grandson, Dylan, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Wendy and Gary Paquette, Jeff and Elizabeth Cole and Kathy Cole as well as numerous colleagues and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. In honoring Darlene's wishes there will be no calling hours. Following cremation a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 3PM at Evergreen Cemetery on Buck Street in Pembroke.
