Obituary

HOOKSETT – Darcy Ann (Taillefer) Tuoti, 73, of Hooksett, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 16, 2026, following an illness.

The daughter of the late Joseph Emette and Theresa Rose (Feltault) Taillefer, she was born on September 12, 1953, in St. Petersburg, Fla., and grew up in Winnisquam, N.H. She was the beloved wife of 50 years of Francis X. “Frank” Tuoti, Jr.

Darcy was valedictorian of her graduating class at Bishop Brady High School in Concord and earned a bachelor’s degree from the former Mount St. Mary’s College. She was chief clinical dietician at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, worked as a district manager for Avon, then worked as a nutritionist for the Women, Infants and Children program (WIC) through Southern New Hampshire Services, providing nutrition counseling and, later, cooking classes, to young and expectant mothers. She later performed community outreach work for the Elliot Hospital’s breast and cervical cancer screening program, where she focused on connecting women with public health resources and helped organize “Pink Day” events at the Mall of New Hampshire. Later in life, she provided consulting services on foster and adoptive care issues.

Darcy was a talented cook and baker who often used her culinary and artistic talents to decorate cakes for special family occasions. She enjoyed raising her beautiful flower gardens and houseplants. She spent many summer days at Lake Winnisquam with her family. Darcy loved children and ran a daycare out of her home for several years. She volunteered as a Catechism teacher at Holy Rosary Church in Hooksett, a coach for the former Odyssey of the Mind program, and a den leader for Cub Scouts. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and incredible generosity.

Darcy is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Tuoti; her son, Gerard Tuoti and his wife, Jessica; her sister, Marcia Taillefer and her husband, Dale; her brother, Bruce Taillefer and his wife, Shelly; her brother, Joseph Taillefer and his wife, Robin; her brother, Michael Taillefer; her grandchildren, Bianca Tuoti, Collin Fournier, and Margot Tuoti; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her adopted son, Colby Fournier.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Hooksett, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in Concord.
