Obituary

Pembroke - Craig M. Erickson, 80, of Pembroke, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January, 28, 2024 with his wife by his side. He was born on May 24, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN, son of the late Clarence and Olive (Hallston) Erickson. Craig was educated in the local schools and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy and later with the Army National Guard. He worked for many years as a forklift operator with Purity Warehouse until his retirement. Craig enjoyed taking drives with his wife, visiting different breakfast places around the state, his favorites being the Bacon Barn in Londonderry, Allenstown Country Diner and The Circle Restaurant in Epsom, they all knew him by name. He liked to take walks around Memorial Field and Bear Brook in his younger days as well as riding his bicycle. Football always kept his attention, and his wife knew just where to find him on Sundays. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Jason Erickson, a grandson, Justin Erickson and his five brothers, Ronald, Frederic, Dennis, Darrell and Rollie Erickson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, A. Marsha (Sapienza) Erickson of Pembroke, children, Justin Erickson and his wife Jackie of Revere, Jamie DeMambro of Andover, MA, Chris Sapienza and his wife Liliana of Tampa, FL and Lisa Veilleux and her husband Scott of Windham, grandchildren, Jessalyn, Ryan, Zander, Jeremy, Faith, Morgan, Nicole, Kayla as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. At his request there are no calling hours. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at a later date in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
