CENTER BARNSTEAD- Clarence E. Tarbox, 80, of Center Barnstead passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on August, 17, 1941 in Gonic, NH, son of the late Fred and Eleanor (Chellis) Tarbox. Clarence served not only his Country but his state as well during his six years in the NH National Guard. He was later employed for over 36 years working at the NH Electric Co-op as a Lineman until his retirement in 2005. Clarence loved spending time in the outdoors be it gardening, fishing, or hunting. He enjoyed the time he spent volunteering in wood working at 4H. In 1973 Clarence built the home he has resided in with his family. He would fondly share the fun he had with his late brother-in-law and nieces during their years of maple syruping adventures. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Audrey (Aubertin) Tarbox of Center Barnstead, daughter Ashley Tarbox of South Berwick, Maine, sisters, Annie-Ruth Holmes of Meredith, Frances Locke of Pittsfield, Patricia Elliott of Alton, and Freida Simonds and her husband Malcom of Alton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
